About Me

I am a yoga teacher with a passion for overall wellbeing. My journey began in 2001 with a yoga class during college to relieve the school pressure and later to heal my back pain. I have since completed my 200-hour teacher training at Avalon Yoga in Palo Alto, CA in 2011. I continued my training at Breathe Together Yoga in Los Gatos, CA and will be finishing up my 500-hour training on my upcoming trip to California. Additionally, I completed prenatal teacher training with Candice Garrett at Nine Moons Prenatal Yoga in California, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction(MBSR) at Stanford Center for Integrative Medicine at Stanford University. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, I redirected my skills towards wellness, focusing on movement, meditation, and food as medicine.

I have taught in studios, gyms, and corporate settings in the Bay Area, California. My primary teaching style is flow-based, promoting strength, flexibility, and balance while cultivating mindfulness and personal growth. Now living in Finland with my husband and two sons, I am deeply inspired by the simplicity, balance, and strong connection to nature that define the Nordic lifestyle, which has greatly influenced both my way of living and my approach to teaching.
